Flood Thanksgiving 2017

Please note: Flood Brothers will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. If your regular pickup day is on a Thursday, service will be delayed by one day.

At this time of year, we pause and reflect on all the things to be thankful for. We’re fortunate to live and work in a great city with the opportunity to provide service to our communities. We’re thankful for the continued growth our company has enjoyed in the Chicagoland area. And most of all, we’re thankful for you, our customers who we serve every day.

For all that we’ve been blessed with, it’s important to remember those in need. According to The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, more than 620,000 people are living in poverty in Chicago with nearly half of those living in extreme poverty. And according to a study conducted by the Greater Chicago Food Depository, more than 807,000 men, women and children are food insecure in Cook County alone. That’s about 1 in 6 people.

Flood Brothers is active throughout the year with many different charities. Employees and members of our family volunteer their time and resources. Please consider joining us in providing hope to families in need by donating or volunteering at your local church or food bank. Here are a few organizations that are always looking for help:

Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Flood Brothers.
