The Flood family was ecstatic and humbled to join the Chicago community at the annual Illinois Small Business Awards, presented by Loyola University's Quinlan School of Business.

Striving for "Better" Disposal Service Every Day

The university leverages the extensive resources of our great city of Chicago to provide a nationally ranked business education to its students. Part of Quinlan's tradition includes a devotion to the concepts of "more" and "better" and striving to be their best every day; this is something that we take seriously here at Flood Brothers.

Every day, we work as a family to achieve the highest level of customer service, waste management excellence, and recycling to keep Chicagoland communities clean and green. As such, it was a humbling honor for us hardworking disposal service folks to be present at this gala. This year, the awards gala was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in beautiful downtown Chicago, just down from the Magnificient Mile and gorgeous views of the cityscape.

Flood Brothers Honored by Loyola's Quinlan School of Business

Following the small business of the year award winner, Carl Becker & Son (a fourth generation luthier) we told the story of Flood Brothers Disposal & Recycling, expressing our surprise and gratitude for being honored at the event. We also made special care to acknowledge and congratulate the other award winners -- and the strength of the Chicagoland family business community.

Flood Brothers Thanks You!

Once again, on behalf of every member of the Flood family, we thank Loyola University, the Quinlan School of Business, and our customers for bestowing us with this award. We're honored, and hope to continue bringing our family spirit of service in everything we offer -- disposal, recycling, garbage service, dumpster rental, and more -- for decades and generations to come.
