Beginning January 1st, 2020, Flood Brothers is proud to begin its new partnership with the Village of Oakbrook!  Residential curbside collection will occur on Mondays, and will be delayed one day during the holiday weeks listed at the bottom of this page.  You may also follow #FloodBothersDisposal on social media for up to the minute holiday service schedules and weather related delays.


Single family residents will be provided with trash, recycling and yard waste collection.  Refuse collection will include bulk item pick ups, with any item weighing more than 50lbs requiring advanced notcie by calling our office to give 24 hour notice.  All pickups will occur on Mondays of each week.

Flood Brothers will provide each single-family household with a 95-Gallon refuse cart and a 65-Gallon recycling cart.  Additional cart sizes are available for those residents that would be interested; with a rental price applied.  All equipment will be owned and maintained by Flood Brothers, and we will collect recyclables curbside using the single stream process.  .

Flood Brothers will provide yard waste collection April 1st to November 30th.  Yard Waste is to be placed in waterproof plastic or metal containers with a tight cover, or a biodegradable Kraft bag of a size no larger than 35 gallons and not to exceed 50lbs  ALL UNITS SET OUT MUST HAVE AN AFFIXED YARD WASTE STICKER   These stickers are available at Village Hall, the Flood Brothers office in Oakbrook Terrace, or from the local Jewel retailers. Christmas trees will be collected the first two weeks in January..  

*Due to difficulty obtaining stickers outside of the home during COVID-19 related quarantine, residents may be billed for yard waste pickup only after calling Flood Brothers Disposal 24 hours in advance to let us know about yard waste that will be left out for removal. 

White Goods and Electronic Waste should be called in to our office to give 24 hour notice ahead of time.  Flood Brothers will also offer one time free pickup per year on E-Waste at a time that is to be determined by the company and the village. 

Please note the state of Illinois electronic waste landfill ban is a state law. Electronic waste cannot be collected with household refuse/waste.

If a holiday falls on a weekday or Sunday whichs calls for observation the following Monday, and your regularly scheduled pickup is on or after the holiday, your pickup will be delayed by one day.
